Mathias Kevin Theno "Buddy", 70, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Sat., Oct. 19, 2019 at his son's home. Visitation from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, on Fri., Oct. 25, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS and a Graveside Funeral service at 1 pm, Fri., Oct. 25, at the Theno Family Cemetery near Bonner Springs, KS. Buddy was born May 10, 1949 he was a life long Bonner Springs area resident where he grew up on the family farm. He was a 1967 graduate of Basehor High School where he held several Track records for many years. After serving a short time in the U.S. Navy he then returned home and began a career of operating a Forklift for over forty years at the Inland Cold Storage and later Mid-Continent Underground Cold Storage. He was a big Green Bay Packers fan and a K.U. sports fan as well. He always loved to go hunting and to play cards with family and friends. He is survived by his two sons Matt Theno and his wife Jamie of Basehor, KS and Kevin Theno and his wife Kay of Kansas City, KS. Three brothers Martin Theno, Thomas Theno and Jeff Theno all of Bonner Springs. 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.
